Event Description:
Oakdale's largest summer celebration features the Grande Parade, Skateboard exhibition and contest, carnival rides, live entertainment, great food, bingo, softball and baseball tournaments. There are events for every member of the family. Come out to enjoy the parade, go on the rides, eat the food and meet your neighbors. The Oakdale Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Oakdale Royalty Float and the official Oakdale Summerfest Medallion Hunt. Participants follow fun historical clues to find the medallion and win the grand prize. Most of the events are held at the Richard Walton Memorial Part adjacent to the Oakdale City Hall.
